Summary

After our skeleton test in Episode 4.2, a viewer named Tony asked a great question: can we at least put some bounds on how fast Tesla FSD reacts? So we went back through every run frame by frame, using a 120 fps camera that sees Jamie, the road and the car's screen in one shot.

On average the screen reacted in about 0.24 seconds and the brakes came in about 0.34 seconds. On every single run, Strike was already braking before Dan-O left Jamie's hands. An alert human needs about 1 to 1.5 seconds just to start braking.

These are our own estimates off the video, not a lab test. But the pattern is hard to argue with, and the last throw still has a surprise in it.
