How to play
1Pick your car in the pits: the Model 3 Performance or the Mach-E GT.2Mind the battery. Every pass uses about 2%. Low charge and a cold or overheated pack both cost you power. Precondition to bring the pack to Optimal, and use the charger to top up (charging warms the pack too).3Launch on the tree. Press GO (or Space) to leave. Leave before green and it's a red light. The best racers go on the last amber, because the car takes a moment to roll out of the beam.4Get your slip. After the pass you roll up to the booth and collect your timeslip.5Pick a way to race.Quick race: whoever rolls up. The Ladder: ten local rivals, from a rental car to the strip's Plaid. Bracket: call your E.T. in advance. The slower car gets a head start, and running quicker than your call means you break out and lose.
Nothing is guaranteed. Launches vary, the track and wind change, and your opponent can miss a shift, bog off the line, or red-light. Your battery is worth more than half a second: a full, Optimal pack and a perfect light make the best run.
